River Moon (Ages 11-14)

$200.00

This program is for those in our lives that are straddling the worlds of girl and woman. This program will weave together threads of holding onto the joy and inspiration of girlhood while exploring the gifts and edges of womanhood.

These thematic seeds will be planted in a garden that is steeped with so much fun, kindness and celebration for everyone however they show up. Through activities like herbal medicine making, botanical dye crafts, animal tracking and more the Moonsisters will be deepning their relationship to themselves, each other and place.

This program will run during the morning and afternoon workshop blocks of our gathering.

On Saturday night there will be a particularly special event. The whole of Dreaming Waters will gather for a Sacred Fire to send the Moonsisters across a flower woven threshold into their overnight experience. As a group they will either build a shelter to sleep in or sleep under the stars and be sung back by the village in the morning. There is so much more woven into this than we can write but the intention is to extend a tendril towards the old ways of ceremonial departure and return.
