The Location: Carrot Top Farms in Hastings, ON
*Just 30 minutes from Peterborough*
Carrot Top Organics began as a small-scale vegetable operation dedicated to providing the local community with sustainably grown, year-round produce. Today, the farm continues to supply the Peterborough area with fresh, certified organic vegetables while expanding its vision for the property. Beyond the cultivated fields, the farm features diverse natural ecosystems, walking trails, a rustic barn event space, and expansive grasslands open for recreation and gatherings. The farm is built around a passion for sharing this beautiful landscape with others, and we are honoured to host Dreaming Waters at Carrot Top Commons this year.
How we will move on the land this gathering…
Autumn Gathering Workshops and Community Connection Circles
Our Offerings
-
Nourishment
We are thrilled to have our beloved Angell Owens from Edible Alchemy preparing her scrumptious dishes for those who wish to partake in our catering ticket once again. There is the option of full catering or partial catering. Angell’s delicious and lovingly made meals will have GF, DF options as well as different proteins.

-
Accommodations
The land is our home. We have goldenrod pastures for all, wildflower meadows and forest havens to shelter and hold you as you camp within a safe community on the land.

-
Mama Support
There will be a crew of helpers just for mamas available over the weekend to offer an extra pair of hands during our meal times. This may look like help with holding little one, serving food and clean up. Babes in arms our welcome. If you would like to bring older children, please take a look at our River Sisters program.

Marketplace
We are a community of makers, beauty cultivators and culture keepers. If you would like a table at our marketplace to sell your goods, please make sure to put this option in your cart so we can have what you need ready!
Evening Programming
In the evenings, we love to have different gatherings happening within the larger whole. In the past, this has looked like Trading Blanket, Song Circles, Passion Shows, Performances, Saunas, Sound Baths, Storytelling around the fire, and more. We like to keep a lot of this a surprise, so we won’t be sharing too much more here on that note.
Will you join us in ceremony of deep listening to ourselves, each other and the land?
