A Village Hearth for the little women in our lives.
Why is River Sisters important in these times?
˖☾𖤓.𖥔 ݁
“River Sisters is important to me because to be witnessed, celebrated and uplifted as a young person in a loving community is one of the most soul-filling, deeply joyful and meaningful experiences for me. I want to co-create opportunities for others to receive this. I am inspired by the possibility that River Sisters holds space for connecting young people to intuitive and communal ways of being in an intergenerational community which I find to be incredibly healing. “
˖☾𖤓.𖥔 ݁
“To me, River Sisters is girlhood, laughter, play. Running through tall grass, discussing folklore, trusting our intuition, creating portals for fairies. Engaging with imagination in a serious way; these are the most formative moments in all of our lives.”
˖☾𖤓.𖥔 ݁
“When girlhood is met with celebration, intergenerational community and a sense of deep ecological belonging, so much becomes possible that we could never imagine!”

Miranda Orme
Miranda grew up as a student at the Pine Project, and now works there as a mentor; reliving the inspiration and magic of nature through teaching what she knows to little ones.
Since she was very little, Mrna has loved the outdoors, and making creations with her hands. Some of her closest plant friends are Dogwood, Mugwort, and Red Raspberry. They have been sharing so many beautiful lessons on intuition and moon time that have really helped mrna fall in love with being a woman. Mrna loves doing deeply human things such as singing, dancing, playing, crying, hugging her friends, and crafting.

Chloe Matamoros
Chloe is an artist and a lover of being outside drinking in sunlight and befriending trees. Chloe has worked as a nature connection educator for over six years with children ages four to sixteen. Chloe gravitates creatively to singing, finding joy from folky stages to choirs, and from opera to community song circles. Seeking ancestral connection and good times, Chloe recently began learning and teaching Eastern-European folk dances with the band, Kryva Kosa (meaning crooked scythe/braid). A lover of language, Chloe speaks French, Spanish and is now learning Ukrainian! They love cold lakes, warm hugs, dancing anywhere and everywhere, and deep chats filled with belly laughs!

The River Faeries program runs in the mornings between breakfast and lunch. The River Sisters program runs in the morning and in the afternoon (between lunch and dinner) All children are under the care of their parents/care giver in between program times.
However, we do become a village mind organically where everyone is asked to look out for the well being of all children present.
If you have a young child who attends River Faeries in the morning, they need to be with you during the afternoon workshop. Please select that workshop accordingly.

If your daughter is between the ages of 5 - 14 years of age, they do need to be registered in one of our River programs.
